Learnt from Mrs Lai the team from our class is the champion for the competition in our school- congrats to weiqing, qihao and chew kit! Would encourage the team to register for the singapore open - hurry before the places are taken up!http://www.toysrus.com.sg/inside/Rubiks-Registration.htm
Singapore Open 2008 information Date: 7-9-2008 Time: 10am to 6pm Venue: Suntec City, Entertainment Centre Atrium
The competition web: http://www.toysrus.com.sg/inside/Rubiks-Registration.htm Event: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 3x3 OH (total 4 events) Fee: Free of charge No. of participants: Each event will have a limit of 100 participants, after which an elimination round will be held prior to the event.
Registration Method / Details: All participants may register through the competition website and must be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident. Only the official Rubik's cubes will be allowed during the competition.
Registration period: From now till 31/8/2008 (*Confirmation as a competitor will be sent out on or before 31/8, because of the limit on participants)
Prize: Champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up for each event.Plus, the winner in the 3X3 will represent Singapore at the Rubik's 2008 Asian championships held in Hong Kong on 8 Nov 2008.
